Is Holly Ridge Elementary your School Choice?
If you’d like to find out more about Holly Ridge Traditional Calendar Elementary School we’d love for you to come to our joint Cultural Arts Night and Open House on December 5 from 6:30-8:00 pm. During this event, current and future Holly Ridge Elementary families can “Tour the World in 1 Night.” Our staff and parents will highlight countries in which they have lived or traveled and share cultural customs and experiences. The principal will also share the culture and customs of Holly Ridge Elementary School with future parents. These parents will be able to tour the school, meet some staff members, and soak up the Holly Ridge Elementary Culture in which we are very proud.
If you have a rising 2012 Kindergarten student, please come register your child from 10:00-3:00. Please bring a proof of residence, shot record, and a certified birth certificate. When you register, you will receive your NC WISE number. This number is very important and will be needed to make your on-line school choice selection during Round 1, Jan. 17-Feb. 24.

Parent Input Session for the New Principal
On Wednesday, January 11th at 6:15 p.m. in the Media Center, Area Superintendent Lloyd Gardner will visit with Holly Ridge to hear parent input and answer questions regarding a new principal at Holly Ridge. BoxTops/Labels For Education Super Bowl Fundraiser Competition
It’s that time of year for you to SEND IN YOUR BOXTOPS! Each class will be collecting Boxtops from January 9 -February 11 to make their way down the Super Bowl Field. For each 100 Boxtops that your child’s class collects they will move a specified amount of yards down the field! Check your local newspaper this weekend on January 8th, 2012 for the special Labels for Education® 100 point bonus offer collection sheet! Help boost our school’s earnings !
