Welcome Back Holly Ridge Friends and Families!

It is very exciting to be starting our 2009-2010 school year especially after seeing how excited everyone was during Meet the Teacher Night on August 20, 2009.

This summer seemed to fly by once again but I did get to spend some quality time at the pool and traveling with my family. As you may know, I’ve been married for 20 years to my husband Ken and we have two students in the WCPSS this year. Jamie (1^st grade) attends Holly Ridge Elementary and Cassie (8^th) will be attending Holly Ridge Middle School. Our daughter, Alexis attends Holly Springs High School but will be spending her junior year with a host family in France. Our son Brian, completed his first year at UNCW and will be interning for a year in China at New Day Orphanage. As you can see I am looking forward to getting back into a routine with school in session.

If you have not already done so, please feel free to introduce yourself at upcoming PTA and school events. We believe in working together to allow all students to enjoy a safe, friendly learning environment where all students can work to their full potential. I also feel that it is essential to build a strong rapport between school and home so we can meet your child’s educational goals.
